In previous years, we have worked with industry partners to collaborate on Final Year Project (FYP) briefs to tap on our students’ creative ideas and solutions. Past partners include National Environmental Agency (NEA) to rethink the future of the Hawker Centre and Wet Market, as well as Innovation Centres for the offices of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).

This year our Year 2 students took part of the Great Singapore Sale, collaborating with the Singapore Retailers Association (SRA) and local furniture store Commune to make “Windows Alive” through Visual Merchandising. DID Year 3 students collaborated with Multi-National Company (MNC) Avery Dennison to conceptualise an Experience Centre to customise car wraps, creating immersive and dynamic environments as their Final Year Project.

 

DID students also took to design the UOB outlet in the SP Campus, using Design Think techniques to investigate, ideate and co-create spaces, customising and designing a unique banking space in an educational environment.
